Day 24: Peace Once Again September 15, 1861

I feel like everything is at peace now, knowing that my brothers are somewhat safe and that they were not part of those lives lost. Also knowing that my brothers may be able to come home for the holidays, and that even though will have to go back. I look forward to every moment I get to spend with them. Eric, Rose, AnnaMae and I have been comin really close lately. We have been hanging out a lot and Eric and Rose finally got enrolled in school. Same school that I go to so we get to walk together to and back from school. Our friendship has really grown and all of us are in the same situations with our brothers. Everything will turn out good, we are in good hands and we are fighting for what we believe in. For once I feel comfortable, and back to my normal self with out worrying about the boys. I know that they will be home soon and that they will come home all in one piece. We just have to keep praying and hoping that everything will be ok and not worry about that stupid ole war. What happens, happens all of us are lucky to be surrounded by people we love and the people we love are fighting for us.
