Day 33: Turkey Day November 26, 1861

Holidays need to slow down! I need time with my brothers! A month isnt enough to spend all the time I need with them. I wish they could stay home forever and be home forever. But all I can think about is all the food on this table, Momma cooked her usual. Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Corn, Green Beans, Yams, dressing and so much more. Imma be stuffed, and because of the minimal slaves we have, Momma invited Alice and everyone in to join us. There isnt a lot going on in the fields and Poppa said that they deserve a break. I love havin everyone together, my life feels so complete. Everything is perfect and great and the days are just gonna get better!
