Day 25: Will The Book Ever End? September 28, 1861

The chapters in my life keep to keep turning, everything is changing literally everything. Ive been sick the past couple of days and Momma has had to keep me inside, I think the cold is gettin to me, but I better get better soon. Cant afford to get sick, life has been really lade back nothin has been really stirred up. Except, there has probably been a lot happenin in Washington D.C. As far we know there is still a blockade in the south and nothing has really happened. It took charge though that it showed the south owned some forts off the shore of South Carolina. They were gonna stay put just incase the North decided to come for revenge in a surprise attack.

Poppa came back and said that there have been some more battles going around, there was on in Kentucky and it was called the Barbourville Civil War. This took place in Kentucky and it was told that this was Kentucky's first encounter of the Civil war. The Confederates destroyed the training camp and seized arms found there. Poppa said that each state is encountering many little battles to stir up the huge war. Im really hoping people will get some common sense and wont stir this mess up. We dont need another mess to clean up, and we sure dont need another war. I think they have put enough stress on this country and now stirring up trouble in every state? is that really called for?
