Day 43: Death in the White House February 21, 1862

News seems to travel so fast these days, there are newspapers, telegraph lines and of course people spreading the word around. President Lincoln is struck with death in his family, his eleven year old son has passed away from a fever. Nothing else has really been released about the tragedy, but Willie....rest in peace buddy. I hope they can find out exactly what happened so they can prevent another sickness like that. I think President Lincoln is in shock and and probably devastated. I know the feeling, and its not a good one either. I hope things turn out better in the future and hopefully things will stay calm for awhile, or nothing will happen at all. But thats only in my fantasies.
